Herbert Lewitter is a French and European Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney. He worked with the leading firm Marks & Clerk in London, and has been in practice in Paris with the Santarelli firm and its predecessor Cabinet Bonnet-Thirion since 1970. Mr. Lewitter handles daily, contentious matters and litigation involving patents, trademarks, industrial designs and copyright. Mr. Lewitter’s transatlantic professional experience gives him a unique perspective on intellectual property issues and he represents both SMEs and major corporations on both sides of the Atlantic. He lectures on patent and design law topics.

Mr. Lewitter received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Lewitter is admitted to the Bar of Washington, D.C. and is a U.S. Patent Attorney.

Oren Masory is mechanical engineer, who has spent most of his career, in the academic world, and is currently the Chairman of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Florida Atlantic University. Throughout his career, Dr. Masory has been a consultant to major industrial concerns, received numerous awards, and has been published extensively.

Dr. Masory received his Bachelor of Science degree, a Master of Science degree, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Joel S. Schlesinger, Member, Advisory Council

Joel S. Schlesinger is a Senior Managing Director in the Debt Capital Markets Group responsible for senior client relationships with U.S. and International Banks. Mr. Schlesinger joined Bear Stearns in 1978 and is Head of the Debt Capital Markets Group for Financial Institutions. Prior to joining the Debt Capital Markets Group as a senior banker in 1990, Mr. Schlesinger’s background includes the development of the Firm’s money market activities, and Preferred Stock Department.

Mr. Schlesinger is a graduate of New York University with a degree in Business Administration.

Lorin S. Weisenfeld, Member, Advisory Council

Lorin Weisenfeld is an attorney, currently practicing in Washington, D.C. For twelve years, Mr. Weisenfeld, was Assistant General Counsel of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), where he negotiated innovative investment guaranty agreements with various countries and directed the resolution of particularly contentious investment disputes, and for fifteen years Principal Counsel of Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), created under the auspices of the World Bank, where he was director of its mediation service and responsible for claims settlement negotiations.

Mr. Weisenfeld is a graduate of Harvard Law School and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Costa Rica, Faculty of Law.
